Essential Jewelry Cleaning Tips

Gemstones

To clean gemstones, use a drop of Dawn dish soap diluted in 1 cup of warm water and quickly & gently rub with soft bristles, pat dry quickly.

Silver Polishing Cloth

When using a Polishing cloth, use only on bright silver metal. Clear surface of any dust, sand, etc. Rub inner polishing cloth with medium pressure to remove dirt and tarnish. Use the outer layer to buff jewelry to enhance shine.

Crystals

To clean crystals, lightly dampen a q-tip with 100% acetone (not nail polish remover) and quickly and gently wipe over crystals.

Ionic Jewelry Cleaner

Ionic jewelry cleaner may be used by carefully dipping the jewelry in ionic solution for a maximum of 40 seconds. Afterward, rinse the jewelry with cool water for 1 second and promptly pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
